Many of us love to celebrate July 4th with parties and fireworks to remember our independence. When we are with our families, many of us have our pets tagging along too. Did you know on July 5th is one of the busiest days at the animal shelters. Some safety tips to keep your pets safe and feeling comfortable on this eventful day: 

 

1. Make sure your pet has I.D. on their collar. 2. Keep your pet indoors on July 4th.  3. Do not give pets alcohol.  4. Do not use fireworks near your pet or near your home.  5. Keep lighter fluids and matches away from pets reach.  6. Do not keep pets in a car no matter what the weather is like.
